How to read these results
Metrics correspond to the period and cut-off date stated in this case. Views are cumulative plays; they don't represent unique users or sales. The reach and platforms included are described in the case. Business metrics should only be attributed to the campaign when there is measurement to support it.
The challenge
Turismocity compares flights. The challenge was to spark the desire to travel and accompany the search, without turning every post into a generic invitation to download an app. The content had to be useful even for people who hadn't yet decided on their next destination.
What we did
The campaign started with five creators in Chile in April. The first million views came in 19 days. In June, four creators in Colombia joined.
Formats included itineraries, getaways, recommendations and photo carousels. Turismocity appeared as the tool for finding travel options. Carousels played a central role: nineteen of the twenty posts with the widest reach used that format.

Results
As of September 12, the 1,379 posts had added up to 31.3 million views and 781,000 saves. July, coinciding with winter break in Chile, closed with 7.9 million views. Eighty-two posts passed 100,000.
A content spike and two days of downloads
On August 26, @viajaaconvale posted a piece about a package to Florianópolis that reached 418,000 views according to the available cut-off. Turismocity reported 1,425 organic downloads on August 27 and 1,032 the following day: 2,457 in total.
These downloads correspond to all of the brand's organic channels. Their timing alongside the video provides context, but doesn't on its own allow the 2,457 downloads to be attributed to it.

A destination saved for later
@mar.trips' Puerto Varas carousel reached 1.64 million views and 13.9% engagement. The same account went on to work on recommendations for places like Isla de Maipo and Santiago in winter.
What we learned
Usefulness extends the life of content
An itinerary can be saved, shared and consulted before booking. That's why we measure saves and shares alongside views.
Replicate a useful structure
The recommendations format made it possible to keep a recognizable line and adapt it to different destinations and audiences.
